Sliding Panel for VirtualViewer UI

Today I’ve been working on a solution for Snowbound’s online demo. What makes this challenging (nay, fun) is that we want to showcase the product and provide conversion links without cluttering up the application. Additionally, we have to take into account those who may have come directly to the demo without reading about the product on our web site.

The JavaScript is courtesy of JavaScript Kit: http://www.javascriptkit.com with some slight modifications. It’s pretty slick.

Quick Tip for Creating Pixel Perfect WireFrames

One of the things I’ve been surprised about as a designer is how easy it is to create a reasonably simple site in a short amount of time once you have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code. Troubleshooting and making it work for various browsers is another article, but putting up a basic, static website isn’t too terribly difficult.
